628 Stirling Hwy.. 'on the fly'!

Stopping at the traffic lights on the way home last week I took this shot 'on the fly', as we blogger types often do :) The above mural by @joshgnomes on the corner of Stirling Highway and Glyde St. replicating times past, the good old days when life was simple.. except it never has been really has it!
Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe...

  2. It is a nice mural, although you're right, the good ol' days were never really that good, and in many ways, were much worse. There's a Stirling Road in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Haven't been there in years, though.

  13. Fun mural! Recently saw a TV program where a man remembered being 9 years old in 1943 and said his world seemed simple and ideal, even though a war was going on far away. The minds of children are so naive that we look back through that rosy fillter.
