Beating the blues.....!

Whenever I get a little grrrrr! there are two things guaranteed to calm the nerves.. one is to get out and work in my garden, the other is to take a walk along by the beach and remind myself  how lucky I am to live here in Perth beside one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world and that there can be days in winter when the sky looks like this and the Indian Ocean so blue.. can you see the lighthouse way out there! Happy Friday, take care..... Click here to view all participants of Skywatch Friday

  7. A walk along that shore would ease all my blues! I don't envy you your trip to Ikea in yesterday's post - it is something I always put off as long as possible. ;-)

  18. Looks a lot better than the Mississippi River! The Indian Ocean is an alien concept to those of us here in the center of North America.

  19. Really is a beautiful stretch of coastline. Looks a little like the CA coast 50 years or so ago (before all the subdivisions and people!).

  21. definitely not our winter... I believe "we" have to grrrr.. for 2 reasons:
    a) I don't leave close to the see
    b) our winter is really much colder than Australian's...
    shall we move there ?
have a nice week end.. ciao

  22. I agree, the seashore is the best place to go when you need to feel better.
I wish you a nice week-end, dear Gracie, full of long walks and quiet moments (as much as possible, considering the kitchen problem...)

  23. Well a walk with those views would lift my spirits too. I know how stressful reno's can be while you're living in the house with the dust and debris! But think how nice it will be once all done!

  29. Hi, back on the blogosphere...

Unfortunately, I did not get to see the sea this year, so I am pleased to see your photos of the blue waves coming onto the shore. Have a nice weekend

Rec'd a phone call tonight from my sons. They'll be in Perth by mid -September!
