B-boying in Forrest Place.....

It was all going down in Forrest Place on Saturday. As well as the new water sculpture there was a gathering of young B-boyers enjoying an impromptu challenge. Such fun to watch, the guy above is challenging the young lad in the purple trews and beanie, who replies with some insane moves. I think I recognized some of the faces here in a more organized challenge.  What I enjoyed most was the interaction, so much fun and even though the audience looks a wee bit serious here, it was all cheers and clapping at the end of each round. So if you're planning to 'bust a move' anytime soon, make sure you're wearing the appropriate undies haha!! Happy Tuesday, take care....

  1. Terrific slice-of-life shots, although I don't understand this at all. I guess it's good exercise. And fun to watch. And photogaph! :-)

  2. I love it! It's been a long time since I've seen any b-boying breakout on city streets! So much energy there and an appreciative crowd, it seems:)

  3. Looks like fun and makes for terrific photos -- needless to say, I'm just a tad too ancient to be playing like this anymore, but like Lowell, I'm all for watching and photographing!! Hope your week is off to a great start!! Enjoy!!

  10. During summer and autumn sometimes seen over here as well. Good to see young life finding such motivation, getting far from drinking or alike. Please have a good Tuesday.
