Two Star Rating.....!
Like all seaside cities around the world there is nothing Perthites love more than taking their four legged 'best friends' out for a romp on the beach. While the Trigg dog beach may only have a two star rating, it was definitely popular when Aimee and I passed by on our Sunday walk. You can see by the last picture that it's more of a 'cove' than a long stretch of beach, so I'm guessing it would probably be used more by the locals around the Trigg area who can just walk down. If you're going to take the time to get in the car and drive you would more than likely go to the Scarborough dog beach which is perfect for long walks, it has a four and a half star rating! I'm wondering how they came about these ratings, did it go something like this..'now Oscar, what did you think of this beach?', 'woof, woof'.. so that would be a two then! and it's not even silly Sunday haha!Have a terrific Thursday, stay safe.....
Love it. Lupe will be happy in any of them!
ReplyDeleteMy son and I always enjoyed our walks on the beach with our dogs as much as the dogs did. I miss that, so it was really fun to see your captures of the "two woof beaches"!! Rest well and have a great tomorrow, Grace!!

Oh, it's very beautiful! Arianna
ReplyDeleteLast shot says it all for me - definitely a keeper!
ReplyDeleteI like the view from the last photo.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing dogs playing on the beach. They know how to have a good time!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question about the photo I posted today, I think you are seeing a line of bricks at the very top of the wall.
There are few thing s more fun than taking a dog to a beach!
ReplyDeleteMaybe they rate them by the wags of the tail? :) Beautiful pictures..
ReplyDeleteYou have dog beaches, lol! That's very nice. We share the beaches with dogs and not necessarily well behaved ones...
ReplyDeleteWe haven't dog beaches. But, you stil go to the beach, it's still warm?
ReplyDeleteTo day I went to the beach...
A big hug from Italy *-*

My 2 four legged kids wouldn't care how many stars as long as there was sand and water :) it is their favourite place to visit.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely ***** for the doggies.
ReplyDeleteKids and dogs you just can't keep 'em out of the water :-).
ReplyDeleteOnce I earned pocket money walking dogs.
ReplyDeleteSeems to be indeed a great place. Please have a good Thursday ahead.
Maybe the dogs didn't know how to give it more stars? ;) I think it looks pretty nice!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of the concept of dog beaches, in this country or anywhere else, although I've seen dogs on the lose in remote seashores. That's a pretty good idea.
ReplyDeleteWoof, Woof......Grrrrrr!
ReplyDeleteHawaii NEEDS at least ONE dog beach!

Most of our beaches don't permit pets on them. The people walking on the beaches don't want to step in a dog's gift.
ReplyDeleteLooks like everyone had a great day.
ReplyDeleteOh, nice! No dogs allowed on our city beaches here in theory, but well, this being Spain, who cares about this (or any other) law...
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous way to while away a few hours. A walk with your dog on the beach.
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous! I wanna be by the sea!
ReplyDeleteSo funny! I don't know of any dog beaches around here...the last time I had our doggie on one was in SC! Love these photos...stay safe!
ReplyDeletei think you're definitely on to something. how perceptive of you to lift the veil of mystery involving rating systems for us.
ReplyDeleteWould like to walk my dog on this beach regardless of its star ratings! Looks heavenly to me...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous beach views! Chuckled about the ratings! We have a community noticeboard near Dromana beach featuring dogs that walk the beach using leads and carrying poop bags! Only well-behaved, "lawful" dogs are featured! It's hilarious!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beach. Love the top shot with the rocks.
ReplyDeletereally intriguing, many thanks so much!
