We enjoyed an excellent lunch in Hongkies Hong Kong Kitchen in Northbridge last week surrounded by the fabulous work of Perth artist Brenton See. Good food, brilliant art.. not to shabby! In the back room of the restaurant I discovered the beauty above, I'm not 100% certain this is a BS but the blocks of colour that are consistent in his work lead me to believe it is. Beautifully exotic oui! Sorry I haven't been around much this weekend, I've been cutting back in the jungle garden preparing it for winter ahead.. big catch up today. It is WA Day today, hope the predicted storm holds off until the celebrations are over. Happy Monday, take care and stay safe..
Brilliant murals Grace. It does like Brenton See's work. Have a lovely WA Day and hope the storm holds out until the end of the day!
ReplyDeleteGreat murals! Beautiful! When you mention winter, my mind struggles with it, though it feels like winter here today, just 4 C today.
ReplyDeleteLove that peacock, brilliant. Enjoy your week Diane
ReplyDeleteI love your town!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant - in both colour and execution. Didn't realise that our little Tree Sparrow had made it all the way to Australia. They are quite difficult to find over here.
ReplyDelete...Too glam to give a damn! Isn't that always the way!

ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at your jungle garden preparation, as for me, it's all about holding back a that wild jungle of weeds and such around here right now too!
