Spotted this giant sized mural when we were in Bunbury a few months ago. 'The Storm' painted back in 2015 by Brisbane artist Fintan Magee, you might recognize his Facebook header as another mural both Sami and I have shown before. The motivation for his collection of artwork 'stems from the impact
climate change has on local communities'. His huge scale endeavours can be found all over the world.. you might have seen one of his murals in your city. Click the link here to see if you recognize one. If you are wondering exactly how big it is, the exit door below to the right will give you some perspective. Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe..
Having the door in the shot really reinforces how big this one is.

ReplyDeleteNo such luck with a mural from him here, Grace, but yes, it´s scary to see hurricanes even in Germany now.
ReplyDeleteIncredible level of realism depicted here. I've never understood how anyone can create work on such a scale.

Such a great subject for murals. Maybe if we see more murals like this with a message about climate change, our leaders will start doing something about it. (I know, that's a beg stretch.)
ReplyDeleteThe artist does a good job of conveying their message.
ReplyDeleteWow quite amazing. Diane
ReplyDeleteA mural with a clear message.
