Looking down onto Murray Street from the top level of the car park two things caught my eye. Firstly the amazing colour of the brick frontage of heritage listed Andrews House. Can't find any details on when the original cream surrounds were painted black but the combination, along with the matching orange autumn/winter leaves of the plane trees out front looks incroyable. Secondly looking across to the right, the rooftop bar of the Prince Lane was deserted, something to do with the steady fall of 💧 over the last few days! Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..
I think the black looks perfect with the brick. And the plane trees are looking amazing!
ReplyDeleteOh my! That brick and the black and the trees! Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThe black looks very sophisticated against the brick. I don't think our Plane trees go that color of orange in fall!
ReplyDeleteHow to make the most of a fairly plain building. Good work. I wonder if they are Plane trees. Certainly not the variety we have. The bar looks cool.
ReplyDeleteVery distinctive!
ReplyDelete...looks classy to me!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what that phrase (orange = new black) means or if it's a good thing. Don't much care, either, but I rather like this color combination on one building in a city, perhaps at the city limits! :)) I've not seen those trees before ... no, I never have. Interesting color.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful find PDP.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful building.
ReplyDeleteThat is a striking building.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful building! It looks like its color inspired the trees.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought this is a prison, according to the book by Piper Kerman (Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison)!
ReplyDeleteAmazing how different the colors appear with and without the surroundings, Grace! The first one is really intense, I love it.
Gosto destas construções em tijolo.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

What an explosion of colour, amazing!
ReplyDeleteI do like the orange/black color combination, and cool how it matches the foliage of the trees. Great post title, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good eye you have. All those shades of red are complimented by that black trim in that top photo. Perfecto!
ReplyDeletePerfect colouring and of course great photos. Happy weekend Diane
ReplyDeleteOne feels the love in your shots, and loves the dear little street too!
ReplyDeletePerfect with the fall colors on the trees!
ReplyDeleteNice frame work!
ReplyDeleteFantastic tree colors match that lovely building well!
ReplyDeleteThat building really stands out. Excellent find.
