Not a bad spot to stop for a breather.....!
It was such a gorgeous day Aimee and I decided to step out just that little bit further than our normal walk. We started at Hillarys Marina and walked down the coast road to Trigg Point, I'm not sure how far it is but it took us three hours at a fairly brisk pace..although there was that 20 minutes when we sat eating a Mr. Whippy admiring the view, and oh yes the 15 minutes or so that we played around taking shadow shots at Trigg park.. You really need to get yourselves over here, you'd love this walk. Hope your Sunday is all that you hoped for, stay safe.....!!
Sweet! Love that light.
ReplyDeleteWell, I only wish I could take that walk with you! Are you sure it is "l'automne" in Australia? This still looks sunnier than a Seattle summer to me :-) A bientot, Grace. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteAnd a great place for a bike ride too! Ah, one day ...
ReplyDeleteA good friend headed off to Perth on Thursday so I hope he got out to enjoy that day too!
ReplyDeleteI wish!
ReplyDeleteIt is a great spot to rest on your long walk. Aren't you lucky to have your daughter near enough to walk with you? And to have her want to walk with you?
ReplyDeleteI do agree with Jack!! Looks like you had a terrific place to walk and to rest, have a treat and find some great shots for the day and have some company to share it all with!! Hope you've had a great weekend, too!!

Haven't come across Mr Whippy in my neck of the woods for many a moon :-).
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a perfect day for a long walk and a Mr Whippy's ice cream. .... Years since I've done that!
ReplyDeleteContinue to be amazed by your environment.
ReplyDeletePlease have a good new week ahead.
Sounds like you had a wonderful walk. What the heck is a Mr Whippy...ice cream?
ReplyDeleteWhat's a Mr. Whippy?
ReplyDeleteSuch luxury to have the time for a three hour walk, and in such idyllic conditions.
We had oysters, fresh okra, steamed sweet corn, caprese salad with basil from my garden... We did not have a Mr. Whippy, but we had homemade vanilla ice cream. I will have to eat sparingly all week and exercise twice as much, but it was FINE!
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie

ReplyDeletewish i could join you two on these walks every now and then. it would be grand to be in the company of such a mom and daughter.
ReplyDeleteWith the waves--- a soothing view, I bet.
ReplyDeleteIt would be hard to keep moving with the waves crashing below tempting you to photograph that beautiful scenery below.
ReplyDeleteDarryl and Ruth :)
Looks like a beautiful spot to stop and enjoy the view and take a breather.
ReplyDeleteOh Grace, you are such a lucky girl to have these beautiful views in your own hometown! Thank you for sharing with those of us who are landlocked.
