I'm sorry I just couldn't resist. Every week when we do the shopping, I'm not sure why, but when we arrive in front of the tomatoes I seem to be compelled always to utter the same words "gosh we ARE lucky here, the fruit and vegetables are so good". It's become a bit of a joke with my daughter.. I'm really, really going to try and not say it next week!! Does anyone else have such a compulsion? Not necessarily about tomatoes !!
Oh, I have compulsions but NOT about fruit. hahahaha
ReplyDeleteYes I do and those tomatoes would have making all sorts of delicious red dishes
ReplyDeleteHmmm! Intriguing Birdman!
ReplyDeleteI agree Mo, think of all the pasta dishes that would benefit from all those tomatoes .
Lovely tomatoes! Going to the markets and seeing the displays of fruits and vegetables is such a buzz! Aubergines - corn on the cob - bunches of carrots - luscious baby beets! I love them all.
ReplyDeleteThere are few things nicer when shopping, than a fruit & veg store loaded to the rafters. And they have such wonderful display techniques.
ReplyDeleteWe Italians can not do without this product !!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh I know Elettra, Aimee and I were in Italy last year, the food was unbelievable. We ate so much, but fortunately we also walked a lot so did not come home 10kgs heavier!!
ReplyDeleteChocolate. Preferably of the Cadbury's variety:-)
ReplyDeleteOh I am so with you on that one Alan, I put my hand up and say "I am a chocoholic" and yes I do prefer Cadbury's, but I have on occasion been known to eat 'doggie chocs'!!!
