Loulou & Cie at Le Forum..

As well as Monday's mural magnifique (you can see un petit reflection in la fenêtre above) look what else I re-discovered in Fremantle's West Gate Mall, Le Forum, it's been a while since my last visit. Established in 2004 this independent bookstore brings the best of everything français to WA, books, music, movies it's all here. I came away with the latest So Frenchy So Chic CD for moi and for my brave little great niece who always says 'ooo la la' when she sees me :) a très French colouring book. So many tempting goodies I had to use un peu de contrainte! Hope you're having a good week, happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe...

  2. Independent bookstores are the best...especially when they feature books on a subject you love. Your words make me think you are smiling wide. ;))

  7. My goodness Grace - talk about a shop mad just for you! Are the owners from France originally or just Francophiles?

  9. Bookstores are almost an extinct species in my area. Though I confess, I prefer ebooks, I do miss browsing in bookstores.

  10. Hehe, I also got a Paris-"pressie" for you for next time - no worries, you can use it and it was under 1-2€, from ALDI - but cute, I think :-)
All I can "read" is "Le Petite Prince" by now, most of my French went down the drain. The weird numbers still are a bit present, though. Quatre-vingt-dix-neuf for ninety-nine, how complicated! Oh, the French :-)

  20. What a delight to see a bookstore anywhere in the world. I love my Kindle but I'm keeping (and adding to) my book collection.

Grace - I've had fun looking back over your recent posts. You offer such a variety. I am meeting people here on a regular basis who have visited Perth and they have loved it there! Looking at your blog, I can see why :).

  27. This place would have caught my eye. Love Paris. I spent my 21st birthday there....and we all know how long ago that was. I have returned at least four times and will make my fifth trip in April.
Isn't Paris on the way to everywhere.?
