A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing,
the birds are singing, and the lawn mower is broken. ~James Dent
I have a feeling that Mr. Dent may not have been referring to an Australian summer with his words above :) Although we could be lucky, as we were yesterday, the sea breeze came in early and saved us from a 37C scorcher.. with a forecast of 40C for today, we can only hope! As for the luscious, sizzling hibiscus, the hotter the better! Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe...
Lush Luscious!

ReplyDeleteHuh and it is snowing here :-(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
ReplyDeleteSomehow that sounds better than the 2 degrees we have around here. ;)
ReplyDeleteComo todas tus fotos, realmente preciosa.
ReplyDeleteSaludos
What a beautiful colorful flower ! I know the feeling about heat , and I'm not in the hurry to see it back here .
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week-end, dear Gracie !
It's snowing here but is only -2˚C so it isn't bad out! I love hibiscus, Grace.
ReplyDeleteI've just come to get warm.... I've the central heating on full blast and I'm still cold.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful hibiscus :-) Send some summer sizzle our way please.... can;t wait for Spring!
ReplyDelete40 degrees?
ReplyDeleteSeems fine to me.....
Stunning colours..
ReplyDeleteYour summers sound a lot like ours. No biggie, though, we just stay in where the a/c is working!
ReplyDeleteHibiscus here live through some pretty cold winters (temps in the low 30s (F) or worse.
Very nice flower Grace. We have several of those in our front yard garden only they are not in bloom at this time. I really trimmed them back about a month ago so they won't be in bloom for a while. Nice spring like weather here lately. Clear sunny sky and day time high temmperatures in the 70sF or 20sC.
ReplyDeleteColors that make you smile.
ReplyDeleteHot, hot, hot!!
ReplyDeleteRed, yellow and blue. All the primaries.
ReplyDeleteI have an almost identical coloured one (small) sitting here in my study Grace. Hibiscus are such showy, exotic plants. Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteThe colour bursts from your hibiscus. So lovely. As for summer sizzler, I can only gaze in awe as we, on my peninsula, scraped in a 21 degrees today. But we have been promised some summer this week - on workdays.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous !
ReplyDeleteThe flowers love the sun, but 37- 40 C is too much for me, so very hot....
ReplyDeleteHello from Perth, ON, Canada! We are -15 C. this morning and in the middle of a snowstorm!
ReplyDeleteOur car thermometer showed 43C at 1pm when we were driving to a friend's house for lunch! Hot, hot, hot!

ReplyDeleteHibiscus are the supermodels of flowers!
ReplyDeleteI prefer my freezing weather, I must admit. The hibiscus looks happy, though!
ReplyDeleteThose temperatures are what I have to look forward to. If only this nice winter weather could hang on for 4 more months.
ReplyDeleteI love hibiscus ! This one, with different colors is very pretty
ReplyDeleteStay inside and stay cool, Grace. You can admire the flowers from your window.
ReplyDeleteMy hibiscus died last year. :-( It was the same colour! Sending you a cool winter breeze!
ReplyDeleteLove the quote. Hope that you are having a good, relaxing week.
