Perthites arriving into the city early yesterday morning were met by this extraordinary sight outside the train station.. talk about a "Lilliputian' moment! We were in the city to see the Little Girl Giant walk yesterday but weren't expecting to see 'the diver' until today. His appearance asleep on the streets of Perth was just one of the many surprises Jean-Luc Courcoult, Artistic Director of French street theatre company Royal De Luxe had in store for us yesterday.. no doubt there will be more today. You can read here how Perth, the Noongar Nation and ANZAC were integrated into the Giants saga.. we are incredibly lucky to be enjoying this three day once in a life time experience.. merci beaucoup M. Courcoult. Bon weekend, take care and stay safe.. p.s. was out late last night at a faaaabulous Fringe show, catch up today!

ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having a lot of fun. I'm seeing white. Snow outside and paint indoor. Haven't touched the camera all week.
ReplyDeleteWow that's so realistic except for the size of course, it looks really bizarre with the scale difference. Great picture though
ReplyDeleteThat is a great piece of public art.
ReplyDeleteMove over Cristo and Banksy!
