Riverbed reflections.....

I did initially think of making this image into a black and white for a more dramatic look, but I just couldn't bring myself to take out the blue of the sky reflected into what, with a long hot summer approaching very quickly, will soon be a dried up river bed with no possibility of any reflections at all....right decision.....? I'm really enjoying catching up on all your posts that I've missed over the last few days.....Have a fab weekend.....!

    The sky is a more beautiful, deeper, richer shade of blue when reflected in water.

    I'd have hated to miss this gorgeous blue in this photo! Although now that you mentioned it, it does make me curious to see this great shot in B&W! Maybe you can do another post in B&W, too? Pretty please? ;D

    Both work- the b& w looks more abstract and as if it is the sky and not sky reflected in water. A win-win situation!

    The coloured photo gives a magical depth to the reflection while the black and white seems to focus on the wild tangle of foliage which seems to travel in the sky! Both are fascinating!
